Пра гэту электронную кнігу
If Project Hail Mary Book left you craving another story built on one person alone against an alien landscape, Clifford D. Simak's Project Mastodon strips that premise down to its sharpest edge.
Hudson wakes in a far-future Earth where no constellation is recognizable and no companion is in sight - only the vast, silent wilderness of a world separated from his own by an almost incomprehensible gulf of years.
What follows is a spare, tightly wound survival narrative driven by time displacement rather than interstellar travel: one man trying to read an unfamiliar sky, orient himself in deep time, and stay alive long enough to understand where - and when - he is.
At novella length, the story delivers its sense of wonder quickly and leaves it lodged in your mind long after the last page.
