Sobre aquest llibre
"Wodehouse is the greatest comic writer ever." —Douglas Adams
When the Earl of Ickenham impulsively hurls a Brazil nut at his pompous brother-in-law outside the Drones Club, he unwittingly inspires the man to write a scandalous anonymous novel — which promptly becomes a bestseller. As relatives and opportunists scramble for the royalties and movie rights, Uncle Fred steps in to spread his own particular brand of chaos and goodwill.
A razor-sharp satire on publishing, respectability, and the English upper classes, Cocktail Time showcases P.G. Wodehouse at his most delightfully mischievous. One of the finest Uncle Fred novels and proof positive that Wodehouse is the undisputed master of comic fiction.
