Om denne lydbog
3 Enoch, or Hebrew Enoch, is a mystical Hekhalot text framed as Rabbi Ishmael’s encounter with the angel Metatron. Metatron reveals that he was once Enoch, exalted into the highest heaven, crowned and enthroned, and set over angelic hosts. The book explores heavenly palaces, divine throne visions, angelic ranks, cosmic secrets, and the dangers of approaching holiness, mixing awe, liturgy, and esoteric instruction. It is intense, visionary, and highly rabbinic.
- Metatron’s origin story: Enoch exalted and transformed
- Heavenly palaces, throne visions, and sacred proximity warnings
- Detailed angelology: ranks, names, roles, and heavenly liturgy
- Esoteric revelations about cosmic administration and divine majesty
