Adding one camera took over an hour. App forced me to create an "organization" first — unnecessary for a single home camera. Then it rejected my existing password as "invalid characters," even though that same password works fine on the camera's own web console. Changed it to satisfy the app — now the web console won't accept it, even after a reset. Same broken login experience I've had with TP-Link routers and extenders. Please fix your credential validation across app/web/firmware.

Downloading of recorded footage is a nightmare. I've spent 2 hours trying to download 5 minutes of recording. Both phone and camera use same network. The only way to make it happen was to enter Download Center and keep screen active by keping finger on the display and scrolling from time to time cause it is not possible to do it in the background (app background, goind back to cameras list breaks downloading)

"I am extremely satisfied with the TP-Link VIGI app. I use it to monitor my C485 and C540W outdoor cameras, and the experience has been absolutely flawless. The best part—and I am telling the absolute truth here—is that there are ZERO ads! It makes navigating the app, checking live feeds, and managing settings so much faster and completely distraction-free. Highly recommended for a seamless security experience."
